I finally ordered my epoxy, cab-o-sil, and fiberglass tape last week. I went with US Composites Thin Epoxy with Slow Hardener (535/635).  I bought some fiberglass on eBay, and bought squeegees, graduated mixing cups, brushes, etc at a local paint store

I put a seal coat on the hull last night, followed by my first attempt at laying fiberglass this afternoon.  I think it came out pretty good!  It's excellent watching the color of the pine come alive under the glass!.




Next step, second layer of fiberglass on the 'football' section, and a few fill coats.
