I put the hull aside and started on the deck this week. This
deck is not the same one shown in the pictures from last December, but a new one
that I stripped up this spring. The one I made last summer had very weak spots
between a lot of the strips, and was somewhat unfair due to my novice
staple-less technique, so I stripped a new deck and added a coaming recess
accented with red oak. |

Here's the hull with a seal coat on it. I've since sanded it
and 'glassed it with the 6oz cloth. This time around, there's far fewer bumps,
and no wrinkles to speak of. I've coated with two fill coats of epoxy, and
she's looking really good. |

I made reverse cradles for the deck today, and flipped the deck
over so I can work on the bottom side. The epoxy on the outside is looking
fantastic! The cleanliness of my garage, however, has something to be
desired. |

Next step, sand the inside of the hull and deck to prepare for
epoxy and glass. |
