Paddled down the Toussaint River in Oak Harbor, OH today. It was windy as could be, so the wind pushed me most of the way. I gained some experience in using my GP as a rudder. My wife dropped me off by Rt. 19, and picked me up by Rt. 2 by Davis Besse, the local nuclear power plant. The water was especially low, as it was pushing the river into Lake Erie. There were quite a few scrapes along the bottom, and I got stuck in the mud a few times. The total route was about 3.5 miles.
