My mother, Donna, my brother, Marc, my middle brother, Jonathan, and his girlfriend, Amy, borrowed a kayak from my uncle, and a canoe from another uncle, as well as rented a tandem kayak from Fin & Feather in Upton, MA for a trip to Whitehall Reservoir in Hopkinton, MA.
Whitehall is an excellent resource to paddle on - lots of nooks and crannys to explore, as well as several islands to stop at. We had a great time!
We launched at the boat ramp, headed along the northern shore, then cut across to explore two islands and a small waterway. We then headed back to the launch point. All in all, it was about a 4mi paddle.
